The new version search the performance from the previous 6.5 versions with some new features, fixes and as the previous version, a smaller code than other mods with the same amount of different units, factions, campaigns, galactic conflicts and more.

The list of new features is smaller than in other versions but it was made mostly at 5 months and it will not be the last release from this year for this game.

-Bigger icons. Probably you did not put too much attention in the previous icons. Perhaps you thought how they were smaller at comparation to the original game. Yes, they were but by one good reason. The older and poorer graphic cards can not load a tga file bigger from 16 megabytes where all the icons are saved with a coordinates system. The most powerful and modern graphics cards have not this type of problem. Now, several years after I release the smaller icons and with most people playing with more modern computers, there is not a very good reason for to continue with the smaller icons and I have replaced them by bigger icons, in fact the 50% from them were replaced by new icons and all the mod look very different and good. Probably before, you needed a nearer view in fighters, now the icons from fighters are bigger and more detailed, thanks to this you do not need a close zoom.



Some special units as stations, upgrades and more, they get new style of icons.



-The galactic conflicts. Most of them remains equal because they had not problems. But the Jedi Academy to Dark Saber galactic conflict has been changed. Now it is named Dark Saber and the Jedi Academy events have been removed. If you want them, you can find them in the grand campaing from the mod. This new Dark Saber gc adds heroes from Dark Saber book and Crisom Empire comics time line. By this reason, there are several new heroes from the Crisom Empire II comics.



-The space skirmiss mod has been improved. In previous versions, the AI attacked you with a lot of units in the begining from each battle. You had few chances from to win and it was very difficult. I reduced the building speed but it was not too fun and battles were too massive. Now it does not happen. The building speed is the default from the original game and the AI gives you some of time before it starts to attack you.



Perhaps it is not very perfect because the AI could be more random with the attacks but with the amount of different units from the mod, the default system from the original game does not work. I needed to create some new code if I want see a skirmiss battle with everything.

-New units. There are several new units, specially ground units, some of them from the old TFU games and very probably you recognize them.



-The music has been updated with some melodies from Episode VII.

-There are many new improves and fixes in the code.

-Some missing things have been fixed.

Hi! This mod is great. A lot of units with great details - I love it! But I have a few questions:
- Is there any way to reduce loading time, when I'm starting the game?
- When I am choosing a filter in a global map, I see icons, that belong to this filter. But when I'm unchoosing this filter, I can't see other icons. So I should not use these filters, or there is a way to fix this?

-A faster computer.The last 6.5B+6.58B loads me at 30 seconds or less.
-The filters are activated when you use them by first time. If you do not activate them, you will be cheating.

I need help when i downloaded the mod i tried to install it into my main star wars empire at war forces of corruption mods folder in my main directory in steam apps and the install system wont let me install it and i go to browse and type in where i want to install the mod it says no swfoc.exe found in your destination directory
keeps on saying that. what do i do to solve this? easy steps i don't speak nerd language

i got it to install but not play its not like the other mods when i install them easy and set them in launch options no your mod is complicated i cant get it to play

Well time to give this mod another shot now that I'm running a system that can't possibly crash under the stress.

FX 8350 4.01 processor
R9 390x 8GB GPU
32GB RAM
Plus a host of other vastly superior parts compared to the last time I tried to run this mod.

Remember EAW/FOC does not use more of one single core, more of 2GB of ram and definitely it will not use the 8gb from your GPU. In fact I would like remember you how quantity is not better than quality, less ram memory but faster, always is better.

I am trying out your wonderful mod, the latest version is FENOMENAL...with so many units, so many worlds and the fact you replicated the campaigns s ofd the old game ( and even expanded it) makes this even more ambitious...what can i say...i just CAN'T WAIT to see what you have in store for me 8 and all of us )in the future.
ntil then i shall crush the rebellion with all the weaponry the Mighty Empire can give me! ;)
One Question still ugs me...how am i supposed to play the Grand Campaign (A and B), at first i have these unskippable misison popping right when i am busy building up my empire, how do they work overall? ( secoondary missions? bonuses? Like the first starbase missions for example)

You must edit the xml by yourself. But the fighter scale is realistic.

(This review contains spoilers of what will be in the mod... but if you're gonna download it anyway, go have a read. =D) Download at firefoxccmods.com, but first register. Nomada puts a hell of a lot of work and stays perfectly true to the Expanded Universe as much as possible in his great "Alliance" mod. Take control of units that date back all the way to the Old Republic, factions straight from the Clone Wars and definitely all the way to the expanded universe. The mod gives out what NO OTHER…

The maker of the mod have no respect for people playing it, and doesnt allow even to download latest version... And he bans people for critisizing mistakes!

But about mod. Its absolutely unbalanced and unstable. And there are no updates uploaded here... Yes, i know that they are on third-party site, but why would you post mod here then?
