Alliance GC mod was initialy a Spanish mod started 4 years ago and it has had many different versions, next it was translated to other languages like English and German.
Alliance 2.4X is a total conversion ambiented on the Civil War between Empire and Rebel Alliance with the Black Sun and one new faction named Free Side.
It adds new features to the game, these are some of the most important:
-Underworld side is now the Black Sun.
-New galactic conflicts with tactical events adding new histories to the mod, the old Episode IV to Episode VI, Rogue Squadron, Thrawn Campaign, Dark Empire, Jedi Academy, Dark Saber or the new Rebellion Birth are the main.
-You can play the old and the new grand campaing which it joins all the histories on only one.
-New space and ground maps bigger and more fun with thousands of new structures.
-Thousands of units, many new space units, new super weapons, new ground walkers, new tanks and many more, probably the biggest list of units added on a mod with complete detail.
-New IA improved. Thousands of new changes making IA a harder player.
-New faction, the Free Side, now you can play with the union from all pirate planets on some of the galactic conflicts or on skirmiss.
-A complete demo named Light Alliance with most of these changes but specially made for lower computers.

This is a description from how the Challege mode will run:
-At a first place a small galactic conquest will be loaded with a small description about how the game mode runs.
-You will start with a single planet but you can increase your population at 100 points if you build a special station.
-By a high price, it increase the population.
-If you are thinking it, the IA has been disabled and it will not attack your planets. You can make your attack fleet slowly without problems. All the other planets are locked. If you want unlock them, you must send a probe for explore them. It will unlock the planet for your attack fleet.
-The planet is unlock and ready for the attack.
-A very special and customized battle will be loaded but the main difference is how both sides have station and some new units can be builded for the battle. Obviously the IA is reactivate only for the battles and many of its units are selected for each battle.
-The new units will be spawn near your station.
-Other features are these.
You start the Challenge with a default credits and heroes but when you conquer the other planets, you can increase them.
As on skirmiss battles, the enemy will attack you with waves of units.
All the scenary will be very customized and different to other battles from the same planets.
There will be ground battles and you will see the same features from the space battles.
At the end, the main Challenge is defeat your enemy. Perhaps you remember the C&C Generals Zero Hour game where you can find a game mode with this name, the idea is very similar but adapted to Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption game. Have fun.

ok I started a new game and now bimliringi id under attack by four darksabers?????

But it will be fixed in the next patch.
so, it looks like many of us are having issues downloading this mod for a few reasons..
A:files are blocked/corrupt on your site
B: Site is in spanish, and most people after the mod speak english/german (epic fail there)
C: Dev refuses to post recent version of mod on MDB, (Fail to force people on to their site)
D: Has no reason to have an MDB page as they don't do anything on it other than throw updated content on it that a majority of us are unable to aquire unless you have extensive spanish languistic skills... -.-

In short terms Dragon, your comment is at any case the most useless comment ever pointed out. (no offence), also I'd like to point out that there is this revolutionary translating program called google translate, it sometimes helps when you don't understand something in a different language.
A:False, if you do not register, you will not download a file.
B:More false, the main language from my site is english.
C:Impossible, if I upload the mod here, it would be deleted the next day.
D:More false, I use it searching publicity and it does not break any rule. In fact you are breaking rules as a troll.
If I can, after your comments, I would be more than happy if you do not download the mod. I do not win nothing with it, in fact I wasted my money, my free time and more giving you a complete free product. If you do not like it, very well, no problem but if you are disturbed with it, you can go to one site where you must pay by one game which probably you will be bored of it after few hours.
agreed I'm AN English girl form London and I can't speat a word of Spanish, but if it were in french that would be a different story.
I´m a spanish man and I have not any obligation from speak any piece of english. But well I´m here. If you want, you can start to learn spanish but it is not the problem because the mod is translated to english, my site is fully made at english and I write my updates and more at english and spanish at same time. These are things which probably you have not seen when you entered my site.
I recomend you start to learn from me, I´m present at sites from many different languages and never, absolutely never I have told nothing about if I could not understand any language.
i have the FOCAlliance4.72Bpatch installed but it could be that I am playing a save from before I patched the game.
It is a bad idea, perhaps your game will crash and sure that you will not see the changes from 4.72, at least not all. I do not recomend play older savegames with newer version.
ok I will try a new game, oh I like the idea of having tabs for different unit selections and buildings.
