Today I was curious........ image - Star Wars Alliance Rebellion mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Alliance are a serie of different mods. On the Star Wars GC, you can play the civil war Empire vs Rebel era + Black Sun and soon the Republic and CIS.
I was curious about how difficult could be mod the SOASE Rebellion game and I started it, it was the first time that I worked more of 10 minutes with softimage and probably if it does not explodes at my face, I will continue it. This game has one thing which I like a lot, it runs at my netbook, the minimun requeriments from rebellion were increased but even with them, the game can run at a netbook with a atom processor and 2gb of ram. Have fun.
About the code, it is not too difficult. Of course by the moment it is only one mod for enjoy I only. If I finish something good, I will release it one day.
I like SOTSE but have never tried the mods for it. Are you thinking of jumping in to modding it more and doing less EAW/ FOC modding Nomada?
I have intentions from mod both things by the moment but SOASE very slowly, I´m learning and I want finish my EAW proyects but when I release SOTE, I will have more free time for it.
boooo dont stop your eaw or foc mods what will we do then you make awsome mods
Personally I've found myself playing SOASE more and more now that Sins of the Fallen 6.1 is out, I'd love to see a mod made by you released for the game Nomada, your work has always been great, an SOASE mods typically have a lot less bugs then EAW mods, not to mention the significant decrease in system requirements to run the game with large mods.
