At this live, I have seen more of 4000 models and I have made some of them by myself, one thing that I have learn with all this is how if the model is not symetric, the model will not be good and it will give a lot of troubles when you try add a new texture to it. Some people uses the symetric tool from 3Dmax but most of the times, it makes a bad work. At my opinion, the best is clone a mesh a, center the point, invert it and after it, select the original mesh and attach the clone to it. Other point can be make the UV from the original mesh first, after it when you clone and invert it, you will see the same UV. At the end, usually I make the half of a model at first place. It is the best choice.

I suppose that many other people know how make models and perhaps they do not agree with this procedure of work but please if you do not go to give any better option, stay away from here because you will sound very few constructive and at the end unfriendly by do not share your knowledge with the others. For years I have seen many people critic to the others but they do not share nothing, they do not publish nothing, what are they? nothing, only a gang of "memos" (a spanish word that your translator never will understand). ;)
