Alliance are a serie of different mods. On the Star Wars GC, you can play the civil war Empire vs Rebel era + Black Sun and soon the Republic and CIS.
At this Star Wars day, one day which perhaps we should not applaud too much because clearly the next film has removed many or all the parts from the Star Wars Expanded Universe. We do not know if all the parts were deleted or ignored but clearly the Yuuzhan vong have been removed from the universe because we could see Chewi in the Episode VII trailer and in the Vong books, it was killed in the first book. Who knows more things will change after the film and in the next months. Probably most of the Expanded universe will change with the first titles from the new Star Wars film. Have fun.
However the live continue and before the film be released, I will continue improving and adding new stuff to the mod.
Pretty sure they declared everything from EU Non-canon once production started on the film(s). Dumb move imo
No. They did not say everything in the EU is non-canon. They say how the new films would tell a different story. After it, everybody start to say how the UE was not canon. But it is not what Disney sayed.
From what I heard, Disney said that all of EU's content would be considered "legends."

Now this is my opinion: George Lucas allowed authors to write media which would expand the Star Wars universe. By allowing this content and not making it conform to any sort of organized structure / timeline, he has essentially condoned it, thus making it de facto cannon.
To me, the stories and media of the EU will always be cannon, no matter what "Disney" decides to do under the Star Wars banner. Disney is "Legend" as far as I am concerned. Viva la EU! Viva El Lucas!
