5.0 improves image - Star Wars Alliance Rebellion mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Alliance are a serie of different mods. On the Star Wars GC, you can play the civil war Empire vs Rebel era + Black Sun and soon the Republic and CIS.
Some news here. I have made a few changes in the IA and in the space units. Now these space units from the left spawn the units to the right as a reinforce. You can see the list of space units with escort starships here. Firefoxccmods.com
By this reason the IA will not build the units to the right and the human player can build them but I do not see it neccesary. Thanks to this point now the IA build battle groups more fun and less big groups of poor units.
Other changes are improves about how the IA increase its tech level and less build limitations for some units. You will see them.
For end today, probably I will release a new X version, it would be the 5.0X and as the others it would be a smaller mod but this time it would be even different, without tactical events and with many different things at comparation with the 5.0. dunno exactly, i just always got crashes everytime i go into battle in this mod, tryed various versions, and the Nomada has tryed to help before but nothing ever worked.
I do not like that you tell how it does not work at w7 when it is big lie, I and many others we have played my mods and other mods at w7, it is just a matter about how you install it, at the forum from my site there are many help guides and I have made even a customized patch which sometimes it must be applied even at 32bits systems.
I had this problem, make sure both the swfoc in the game's folder and the application on the disc are running on compatibility for windows xp sp2. It supposedly works on later version but that's what I used to run the game on so I know it works
