First Strike is a Star Wars total conversion modification for Battlefield 2142. The goal of First Strike is to totally immerse the players into the amazing universe of Star Wars by presenting the most accurate representations of famous Star Wars locales, weapons, and characters, and combining them with exciting, fast paced gameplay and features new to the Battlefield scene. Within this mod you'll find yourself as a soldier of the Galactic Empire or as a freedom fighter for the Rebel Alliance. You'll fight across lovingly detailed recreations of various Star Wars locations with a wide array of weapons and vehicles.
One side will have to strike first, for that team will have the greatest advantage...or will it?

This is it, the moment you've all been waiting for: First Strike v1.2 has finally arrived! The Version 1.2 patch is now available for download and general public consumption.
Featuring new maps, vehicles, weapons, and an array of bugfixes and gameplay tweaks, First Strike v1.2 blends infantry, vehicular, and even space combat for a truly amazing Star Wars experience. This patch has been in the making since the release of First Strike 1.1 in September of 2007, and we here on the dev team are extremely happy to bring to you all of the new toys to play with and experiences to have in v1.2 We can't wait to see all of you out on the servers with us.
Major Changes/Additions in First Strike v1.2 Include...
-7 new maps
-7 new vehicles
-Persistent stat tracking
-Over 12 high priority bug fixes
-A wide array of visual improvements
-Several new musical scores
-Many other miscellaneous tweaks

yea, multiplayer/internet/advanced/ check same mod/ update list
so whats up with 1.2, still waiting... ;(
i cant find servers?is anyone playing this mod?
click the "advanced tab" on the server screen
uncheck all except for same mod

Cause for some reason each time i press deploy it goes to my desktop?
make sure you have 1.4 and 1.1 installed and you are NOT trying t play SP, it is not supported even though there is a map listed there. Go to multiplayer and click the advanced tab.
Does this work with patch 1.25?
no, you have to update your 2142 version to 1.4. Even when the installer doesn't say so ;) just ignore the message
