First Strike is a Star Wars total conversion modification for Battlefield 2142. The goal of First Strike is to totally immerse the players into the amazing universe of Star Wars by presenting the most accurate representations of famous Star Wars locales, weapons, and characters, and combining them with exciting, fast paced gameplay and features new to the Battlefield scene. Within this mod you'll find yourself as a soldier of the Galactic Empire or as a freedom fighter for the Rebel Alliance. You'll fight across lovingly detailed recreations of various Star Wars locations with a wide array of weapons and vehicles.
With the Rebel Alliance growing stronger every day and the Empire spread thin as it is, it's no longer a battle of technological might, but simply a matter of who strikes first...

Greetings Troopers!
In SFX magazine's latest Special Edition (#60: The A-Z of Sci-fi Movies), First Strike's very own TALON (Harold Withers) appears in a full page and a bit spread under the section for 'F' on Fanatics, in which he of course takes the time to plug First Strike.
Check out the article here, the interviewer did get a few of his facts wrong and misquoted me a few times, most crucially where he gives the impression that First Strike isn't even out yet, but it is still a fun article.
Catch the magazine which is still on sale at all good newsagents for a nice fresh slice of First Strike in print, there are some nice free gifts included too so go out and grab a copy.

Totally amazed how we could win Jundalnd Waster 3 (Imperials) - 0 (Rebels) and definitely the Jundland´s tanks is a crazy toy to play with, also for the first time I got fun going on the space map as I could get a 2 kill streak :p!
Also, we lost 1st and 2nd map but we could manage the last one! In addition an average of 10 players is nice.
This week's rounds will be starting shortly, head on now if you fancy a few battles.
Does this work with the Origin version of BF 2142, I just get the Insert Disk message.
Yes it does, I am using the Origin version. Check out Rebeldefiance.clanteam.com for some answers, if you can't find the downloadable help file with the information then let me know and I will tell you how to correct.

Hey Great mod but i could not play yet because when i starting a game i cant see my mouse ? so i cant click on play and click on an spawn point how can I solve it ?

there is nothing about no mouse :P so i cant find it i need something else i reinstalled it allready but it wont work :(
Just to be sure, is 2142 fully updated with the correct patches?
Just go to the multiplayer section and go with the local option, from this select co-op and that will give you a list of the maps featuring bot support.
