First Strike is a Star Wars total conversion modification for Battlefield 2142. The goal of First Strike is to totally immerse the players into the amazing universe of Star Wars by presenting the most accurate representations of famous Star Wars locales, weapons, and characters, and combining them with exciting, fast paced gameplay and features new to the Battlefield scene. Within this mod you'll find yourself as a soldier of the Galactic Empire or as a freedom fighter for the Rebel Alliance. You'll fight across lovingly detailed recreations of various Star Wars locations with a wide array of weapons and vehicles.
One side will have to strike first, for that team will have the greatest advantage...or will it?

This is it, the moment you've all been waiting for: First Strike v1.2 has finally arrived! The Version 1.2 patch is now available for download and general public consumption.
Featuring new maps, vehicles, weapons, and an array of bugfixes and gameplay tweaks, First Strike v1.2 blends infantry, vehicular, and even space combat for a truly amazing Star Wars experience. This patch has been in the making since the release of First Strike 1.1 in September of 2007, and we here on the dev team are extremely happy to bring to you all of the new toys to play with and experiences to have in v1.2 We can't wait to see all of you out on the servers with us.
Major Changes/Additions in First Strike v1.2 Include...
-7 new maps
-7 new vehicles
-Persistent stat tracking
-Over 12 high priority bug fixes
-A wide array of visual improvements

Second time i downloaded the mod, i just re-downloaded because i found the Mini Single player version ( i thought the maps with 64 after the name was the number of bots it would use ) and even it get bugged in some maps ( hm not space maps ) =\. Well ... for me it was again a waste of my time :(, but it can get a lot better, because the models/others are good.
no, the number after the maps is the mapsize (for 16, 32 or 64 players) Post your problem in the First Strike forums Fsmod.com , I'm sure someone could help you there.
I need some help... i downloaded FirstStrike, but there are no servers! I can play, but no servers appear and i really tired of just exploring and no intense first strike battling! Can anyone help?
click on the "advanced" tab and cross only "same mod"
