This is Firey Explosion Mod for Supreme Commander Forged Alliance. Well, I guess that it's quite obvious what this mod does. I tried to make explosions look more eye-candy while retaining some realism. This is my first attempt to make a mod, so there are still some features I would like to add, but dunno how. Anyway, this mod only alters effects, so it shouldn't clash much with gameplay mods such as 4th Dimension or Experimental Wars.

Description

Because of slightly altered script, strategic weapons in Steam version of the game get castrated when FEM 2.6 Beta is enabled. This small patch should take care of the issue. Installation is simple: Extract the archive, put the folder inside in your Mods folder and overwrite the files (should be 10 in total, if I remember correctly).

I've just noticed this mod and it's very nice ! I tested this patch on the latest steam version, with Diamond Patch Mod 2 and it worked as expected (tested regular nukes and Seraphim experimental nuke).
There's something odd however: defense walls exploding doesn't look great, since they are nothing but concrete and when there are a lot of them exploding at once (from a big explosion), it looks messy. Just my two cents...

Yeah, it's scale detection problem, same thing that makes Aeon T1 Transport and Cybran T3 Spyplane explode like there's nothing but gasoline and gunpowder inside. I'm not entirely sure what's causing the problem, but I don't really want to mess with each unit's files manually, as that would increase the number of compatibility issues.

No problem, it's very nice looking overall, didn't notice any issue after ~40 hours of playtime.

Just wanted to say that i love the mod. But do have one compatibility issue with Blackops Advanced Command Units, the UEF commander starts with a power/mass draw and the backpack TM and Billy nuke cant be launched. If you need any more info, let me know.
