Firearms: Source is a team based first person shooter, rooted in the traditions of the Firearms mod for Half-Life. Firearms: Source brings the best aspects of Firearms to the Source engine, and then takes them a step further. You'll see a host of familiar weapons and maps, but you'll find the streamlined game play to be faster, focusing on aggressive, skilled play. From nearly the moment you spawn you can expect to be engaged in furious action.

Hello from the Firearms: Source team! As usual, the whole team has been working hard to wrap things up for our public alpha and while we still have some work to do, a public release is on the horizon. We've also been getting many requests to join the testing team and while we're on the lookout for more good, dedicated testers, we probably won't be rolling in new testers for a couple weeks.

We're extremely happy to welcome AlejandroDaJ and OnePunchMachine to the team. AlejandroDaJ has a brilliant history with Firearms and after all the support he's lent to the team, it's fantastic that we're now adding his name to the roster. OnePunchMachine is a wonderful modeler and he's already been working hard creating props for our level designers. Welcome aboard, guys!

That screen-buck effect is cool, but way overdone. I suggest that you tone down the screen movement, but add extra buck to the weapon, and delay the screen-buck by a moment. That way, it looks like the momentum is being transfered through your arm. :)

Very nice , but the lightning on the back of sniper rifle looks kinda wierd , not that it matters a lot , most likely will not be visible ingame anyway .

As long as the assault rifles all feel unique, I'm sold.
