At last we in the FS-WWI developers group bring you FS-WWI Plane Pack 5. This free add-on to the flight simulator Fighter Squadron: Screamin’ Demons Over Europe is a total conversion mod to convert Fighter Squadron (Or SDOE as we in the community like to call it) into a World War One flight simulator. The area of conflict takes place mainly in the Somme region of France circa 1914-1918. With 54 flyable aircraft, two flyable balloons, one flyable Zeppelin, 8 drivable ground vehicles, over 450 Training missions and 185 Campaign Missions to choose from FS-WWI has a lot of content to offer!

In anticipation of the 10th anniversary for Fighter Squadron, Major Hippie and ArgonV have been assembling an All-In-One ISO and EXE installer for the FS-WWI total conversion mod.

The ISO will feature an installer with a slide show and music in the background. This installer will install all of the appropriate files and settings, so no additional downloads or installs of other files will be needed. Included in the ISO are the Quick Mission Builder, SDOE Control Editor, a FS-WWI Launcher interface with links to the aforementioned as well as quick links to things such as readme files and keyboard reference files. The ISO is intended to be as simple as can be for the end user to install and enjoy the FS-WWI total conversion mod.

Stay tuned for a release shortly!

The FS-WWI DVD has been RELEASED but a small BUG has been FOUND!
BUT the Good News is that the fix is already included on the DVD :)

If you get an error when trying to launch the Control Assignment Editor, simply browse the Add-Ons included on the DVD and install the SDOE Control Assignments Editor found there. Where you install to is really unimportant because the error is caused by an ocx file not getting properly registered. Installing it form the DVD corrects the issue.

Sorry for the any inconvenience, but at least it's easily fixed and you don't even have to download anything else! :)
