I have experimented with my self-studied of Computer Science by trying to change and rearrange some of the codes in Source SDK, mainly identify parelllism oppotunities within the lines, rearranged some of the math part codes so it can be accessed by the cpu more easily, and forbidden some of the places where I don't like too much experimentally. As a matter of fact, more things can be done, and about 60-70% of my works has been finished, but it is only an experiment, so be it by now and not much work is planned, unless update my file as Source SDK updates itself like supporting the VC2005 Express Edition, or other game engine updates. The initial result is quite impressive to me, might be different from yours. If you like to try something new, download from my web U drive, address as below, but only the CSS directory, because the DOOM3 directory contains another file from an earlier experiment and presently the project is "inactive" quoted a word from this website.
