Five Elite Mercenaries are send to an Island in middle of the 1980'. The Task: Find and Eliminate a local Drug Baron. Features: new Physic, real Sunmovement, Day/Night Change, Hunger/Food system, realistic (!) Weather system, Light/Dark viewing system for AI, 5 different Fractions on the Island. Complete Realistic simulation of nearly all things, including Sleep. New weapons, new Vehicles. Vehicles driving system is now exact (!) like GTA IV , FireSystem,... this mod is Heavily inspired by GTA, IGI, FarCry.

have done debugging last 2 days. the new update priority system caused new problems with the saveroutines, by repairing this, i found some other bugs which was new to me ^^ for example all vehicles which was NOT drived by player lost all her fuel completely :D or the characterselector was so cool to switch off the HUD after loading a savegame, ofcourse without beeing asked to do so, infact he was switched off and inactive, but who cares :D and some other cosmetically things like a not visible clock which shows the daytime. open is currently a "bug" that the quicksave simply writes over a previous quicksave ... for ALL maps (and probalby MODS). that explains why crytek finally have disabled quicksave. i have to recode it and find a good way to give individual name (for example mod_map_quisave or ask for specific name or just save the game inside the levelfolder, will see what is the easiest thing. unfortunatly all those coding keeps me away from missiondesign and implementing the needed ingame sequences and storytelling dialogues.

ok, quicksaveproblem solved, i also added realistic reload behaviour for ammo in difficulty level:Simulation. that means, if you reload a hald full mag, the ammo which was in mag got lost.

you have (currently) 3 difficulty levels,
-tourist
-soldat
-simulation

only in simulation the realistic weaponreload is active, in both other ones its the old standart one. its because i does not like to make game hard by adding to hard enemies, they should die with one shot (headshot) so keep a realistic immersion. tactical reload makes it to easy (i'm myself a guy who do this all the time). with realistic reload the gameplay changes then a LOT.

each save has a unique ID.every time you save,id increases by one unit.simple ...quicksave.be careful of what you save...:D

nice idea! but too late :D
its actually now named like playercharactername + quicksave + levelname + modname + devkid
no chance to mix it up anymore with other quicksaves :D in save load menu it looks then like

i was also playing around with the idea to ask for a quicksave name, but then a dialogbox would open if you press quicksave. maybe its a nice to have so player can then use her own savepoints to do some things on different ways by loading a older quicksave point. I'm not sure about currently.

btw, does anyone know a farcry vanilla level where enemies have turned ON flashlights? i currently experimenting (or i would love to do it) with giving enemies flashlights which they switch on at night if they hear something. but for some strange reasons the engine totally ignores all my tries to enable the default routines for enemy light. before i start to develope own routines i would better look in vanilla farcry so i can see what i have probalby messed up or have done false.

are you sure about? doesnt find it ? its a outdoor level with a cave and inside the cave the enemies dont have flashlights ? (have watched quickly a playtrough of level 5 research)

Here in this video ( Youtube.com ) at 1:06 you can see enemy using flashlight and at 1:10 it’s visible even more. Its only one but I’m sure more enemies can use them (I think it’s in steam level).

ah okay, got it. thank you both! now i know why i dont have seen the light: there is no lightsource visible, only the enlighted wall, and it works really ONLY at walls, not on terrain, same fail like players flashlight in farcry. ok, i will recode this whole section and add a real looking flashlight if i have to much time :D
