wanna show how i create indoor HDR fake effects lately.
I'm very very proud about this, because this is completely developed, coded and modelled by me, including the idea how to realize this :)

1) this is the engine with clearing indoor trigger, it makes a little bit darker, reduce sightrange, but the Crytec Sun enlights still all things, even if player is "inside" (for engine such things doesnt exist in reality). theoreticly it would be possible to let shadow the building itself to remove the strange enlightment, but it would be buggy, flickering and need much FPS.

2) i switch off the "sun" in indoor trigger, so i have not that strange/wrong enlightment

3) now i add special effects in door entrance which simulate sunbright shining from outsight, with sun rays and specular reflection light plus bumpmap effects at the machine panels and Sun on floor.
also from outside, if you look inside, it looks dark :)

please note that the sunrays are NOT static and moving/shifting in itself, so it does not look like a dead scene like at this picture!

this all works without any prebaked lightmap or shadows at all, even if it looks like the walls throw shadow at inside around the door.

Awesome work! It's great to have moving and shifting sunrays like in some of the modern sandbox games.
