I currently design a very large indoor section which is hidden in a big mountain in the open world map i advert here the last months (dessertbase). its currently a secret entry and only explorable if you have played the story from this map up to 80%.
Last week i have created a wall / room / corridor / stairhouse tailset which allows me to create unlimited indoor areas very fast like lego. now i have to fill out all the rooms with stuff, so every room have a real sense, like wc, living room, sleeping rooms, barracks, kittchen, prison section and and and. this is a little bit timeconsuming. also the orientation between the different floors and vertical expansions in all directions is actually nearly impossible, so i plan to use a colored wall scheme, lets say first floor is green, second is blue and so on. just like it would be in reality.

the first row is a editorshot, how i see it during editing. it was very hard to create those multisectional floors with door entrances and let them have different materials for walls for in and outside, so i literally directly model from 3dsmax direct in editor, but the result is now very exciting, especially for me, who is not so good in indoor design.
currently wallpaper, dirt and lights/cables/electrification is nearly complete missing. its always the hardest part because it should be destroyable but looking naturally like you would expect it in this style of rooms. the actual light in corridor is a placeholder, have to model something better, its actually a vanilla farcry one which looks awefull.

i use always the same stalker texture pool, so i take sure that all my models i do fit optical in the choosed setting. so i have always stalker looking buildings / objects. often i have to rework the textures (to 95% :D ) to fit my needs but finally i have a good set.
