looking good!! , but something is "wrong" in this scene, but i can't exactly spot what. it's some of the buildings vs nature/grass placement / infrastructure.
maybe it's simply the grass, which looks like a "fur" placed between the objects. naturally i would expect there destroyed grass because mercs walk not the phads. also some crete rubbish is missing, also wires to the lamp, fences around, and crates, watertanks.
please dont get me wrong, this scene is looking very good, but some kind of surreal, like a moviescene and not like a real used outpost by mercenaries.
Thank you for your opinion, Kai. I'm agree with all of your remarks, except wires to the lamp and crates. Crates are not missed (they are just in another place), but about wires to the lamp - I mean electricity underground(without wires, like wiring there :) ). But, thank you again. Will be edited.

the grass looks like its been mowed every 2 weeks to have a perfect garden grass, and this is what keeps me irritating on a mercenary outpost :D
I like these screens, they remind me of beaches and islands in Training and Carrier levels of FarCry1.
Is the grass scaled up from default '1'? A lot of grass is way better than plain ground, and larger size of grass looks good.
I also like that there is not a clutter of rubbish lying around the camp, a tropical island should look pristine. Even in urban scenes, broken items, papers and rubbish everywhere give maps an unwelcome dirty look when overdone.
Radar and compass looks good, and I especially like the assault rifle with silencer and scope nice camo.
I am liking that this looks so much like the original FarCry1, which had superb outdoor settings. Not showing so much in these screenshots, even on HD view, but I guess you have done a lot with your own shaders and textures to make it standout from the original FarCry.

Yeah, I try to save this atmosphere, but with another way - way to make this better. Grass will have some changes, but not global. Thank you, Elouise.
