Fallout: New California adds an all new story around a new player character, an adopted resident of Vault 18, embarking on a journey through the wastelands of the New California Republic's Cajon Pass. An unofficial prequel to New Vegas, FPB adds hours of new gameplay and a fully voiced stand alone campaign.
Los Angles was built with all of its metro stations above ground until 2019, when it began an effort to make its urban areas more efficient, using car tunnels and underground rail systems for mass transit. When the war began in 2077, thousands fled to the relative shelter of these underground labyrinths.
While the mortality rate after the first few weeks was nearly total, almost a century later the melted cement and twisted steel catacombs become home to many post-war citizens. Evidence of their lives before and after the war is scattered through the corridors linking the various areas of Downtown Santa Monica together. The great earthquake and subsequent flooding have made many areas uninhabitable, and most of the stragglers have scavenged the last materials and left for the New California Republic.
i think i might need to buy fallout 3 now. the attention to detail is amazing!
