Fallout: New California adds an all new story around a new player character, an adopted resident of Vault 18, embarking on a journey through the wastelands of the New California Republic's Cajon Pass. An unofficial prequel to New Vegas, FPB adds hours of new gameplay and a fully voiced stand alone campaign.
Almost wrote 2017. :p Nope. Update for January 2018.
While they do spice up the scenery, these Mack trucks look like they are from the late 70's/early 80's and don't mesh well with the retro-50's atmosphere.
To be fair, a lot of the super-strict retro '50s setting was done by Bethesda. Fallout 1, 2, and NV were pretty light on it, and it can be assumed that there was some crossover.
Fair enough.
I remember Fallout 2 had stacks of mid 60's ford thunderbirds as junkpiles so I guess venturing into the 70's in terms of car design isn't too much of a departure.

Literally one picture to the left.
I've always wondered what the hell that truck was.
My brother thinks it's an older Mercede's Bonnet truck from the late 50's but I can see why Bethesda went with the GMC COE for F3.
No matter, these Mack Truck's will serve the game well. Will they be destructible by any chance? I remember I got into some tight spots in NV and emptied a magazine into a parked car near the enemy only to realize it wasn't explodable D:
