FALLOUT: THE WASTES

STORY OUTLINE:

The story is based on the good outcome of Modoc, where Jo and Vieger work together, turnig Modoc into a formidable farming/trading comunnity.

THE BEGINNING:

Jo and Vieger form a large caravan, with the intention of starting another settlement. After months of travel and loses, they finally reach the beginnings of a deserted city, and start construction of crude dwellings made from whatever suits the purpose.

Veiger on a search for workers, encounters a travelling group of NCR Rangers titling themselves The Hounds. The Hounds contacted their supieors, and have orders to help the settlement in anyway they can. Thus becoming under NCR rule.

If only they knew what lurks under the ground...........

The life of the farmer is about to become very different.

Hello to all who read this post. Im in need of some portraits, and have little time as it is to work on the mod.

If there is anyone willing to offer their talents or even people who dont think they have any art talent to have a go at the Ox portrait it would be much appreciated.

Only certain portraits will be in color and of the size of 170x230.

There will definitly be changes.

Using them as base design.

They dont have entitys yet like the raider bases will each have a Boss NPC and more fortified buildings
Desert in will have npcs that come and go, will be able to rest and eat there.Have to redesign its interior to look like an Inn.

The new reno add on section wont need much redesign.

Some questions

1 Is the player supposed to be the chosen one from F2? It kinda sounds like it from the story...

2 What do you mean by "warlord" in the chart with mission? A primitive tribe warlord? If not then what will be the difference between warlord and raider leader?

3 I see the F2 weapons in screens but what about the original tactics weapons? Some of them might not fit well (uzi?) but there is no reason the remove AK-47 or M1 if FN fal is there.

4 Any ties to the Tactics story? I know most of it is rubbish with Fallout canon, but I always thought that for example Reavers were such a cool and underdeveloped faction. Animations are already there so you might use them in a cameo or as additional team members :)

5 Will you add custom animations? (new critters, combat armour etc) I know that's A LOT of work but it's something other mods lacks.

I don't think it needs too much story on start, story should develop with the progress of missions. If it takes place just after F2 then something like "the 4 factions fight for the control over wasteland" is fine :)

Also the "lawbringers" sounds like the NRC rangers to me. It would be strange if NRC wasn't involved in the war at all.

And last questions: where will it take place? F2 territory?

1. The Chosen One will be part of the Story.

2. I beleive Law Bringer will be a better name for Warlord.

3. I plan to keep some of tactics weapons, mainly the WWII era weapons.

4. Ive created a spider entity (took ages). And a dinosaur entity (Hav to find out who made dino entity).I used the dino as a gecko.

5. Added Reaver and Combat Armour (The thing with that is, a human cannot wear these armours, but a tribal can, looks like a reaver when worn, and Combat Armour looks like a LargeRaider (I think it passes quite well for combat armour)

6. No ties to Tactics.

7. Ive added heaps of scenary from F 1&2. In the process of adding my own billboards that have a real 1950's feel.

Cameo idea for reavers is interesting.

Now your "BOS" characters can wear new armors and the new armors may sound different. I have just released FT Improver v1.1.
