This mod is a complete overhaul of FOT. Aimed at revising the single player camp. of FOT, to make the game more non-linear and to give the player more choice. This mod is a weapons bonanza, as all of the weapons (one version) from Fallout, and Fallout: 2 will be added. Not including all of the new firearms that the team has already added into the game. The original missions are being modded to allow the player a few different ways to finish the a mission. Every item/weapon/armor is being re-balanced to make each one distinct. Even the sounds are left unchanged as each weapon, will have a distinct set of sounds instead of them all using the same default sounds. The special encounters are being overhauled to make then more useful (particularly the ones without a point). Commodities will reflect in value i.e. a military ration pack will be worth a nice chunk of change. Atmosphere is the key and that is what this mod strives for.

First off I would like to introduce the new ZTRU modteam logo...
This is just a rough sketch done by a very artist supporter of the mod; it was my understanding that this logo is going to be painted. I cannot wait to see the final results.
Next up, weapons and boy are there alot of them.
Most of these weapons are re-imagined i.e. they are some new takes on some of the older sprites I'd created previously. Several of these weapons are also upgraded variants; in order to diversify the calibers used certain upgraded weapons will be chambered for a different caliber than that of the original weapon. I would like to point out three MP5 upgrades: the MP5 CQC is chambered for. 40 S&W cal, the MP5/10 Sniper is chambered for 10mm and the upgraded Mini-14 chambered for the 6.5 Grendel.
I 've seperated out the "Big Guns" from the rest of the weapons.
As you can see the M60 and M249 SAW now have new sprites and upgraded versions. The M249 SAW caliber has also been changed to 5.56mm. There are three new additions to "Big Guns" the RPK chambered for 7.62x39mm (same as the AK, the HK MG23 chambered for 7.62x51mm and the Browning M1919 chambered for 30'06.
The M72 LAW is the new single shot rocket launcher chambered for the default rocket ammo. The M202 MRL (incorrectly labeled in the picture) is a select fire rocket launcher i.e. it will fire in a single guided rocket or four unguided rockets for maxiumum effect. The M202 MRL also fires the default rocket ammo. The RPG-7 fires a single rocket (brand new ammo type, HE & AP subtypes) and is much cheaper to purchase.
This is a demo of the M72 and the M202 MRL in all of there glory.
Last and most certaininy not least are some updated shots from Mission 1.
The first image is the underground complex in its normal state (unpowered) one of the first areas that the player will have access to is power control room where the player will need to restore the power to the complex. The second shot shows the splinter group of tribal's in their new relocated area; this is where you will find the Tribal Shaman and also a trader.
Finally to bring this update to a close I would like to say a few things, first off I'd like to thank everyone who is part of mod team and the loyal mod-watchers. Next, I finally have a holiday from school next week (I still have to work though) so I am going to try my hardest to finish up the demo and get it to the modteam to test it. Finally, if you have a comment, questions, or ideas...please drop me a PM or an email, I'll be happy for the input.
