this mod will replace the fallout factions with that in warhammer 40k
it aims to replace everything in Fallout 3 to Warhammer 40k

==INSTALLATION==

1. Download mesh and Textures #1-#4
2. Install them numerically by making sure all the files located within are in the mesh
and textures folder, contained within your fo3 data folder. dont have a "Meshes" folder
or a  "Textures"
folder within your data folder? create them and put all mesh and textures into their
3. place these files into your fallout 3 data folder:
-WH40K CONVERSION.esm, this is the conversion
-Tau Ammo.esm, this is required to be active to run the mod
-no pillars.esp, is a seperate addon i used to remove some pillars and trees at the front
of rivet city so the statues could be placed there.
4. activate the .esm and .esp files using either your fallout 3 launcher, under data or, use
fallout mod manager, located here:

5. to activate just click the tick next to the associated files, if you want to use addons copy them to the data folder and activate them the same way
6. NEXT YOU NEED to fix up the textures so

you can do 1 of 2 things,

download this

and get that to work or

you go to my documents, my games, fallout 3, fallout.ini, find "bInvalidateOlderFiles=0" and change it to "bInvalidateOlderFiles=1" without quotation marks

-Renamed Bolter and several other weapons
-ammo and weapons available at vendors
-brokensteel compatibility patch
-change lasgun clip count to 40
-check billboards, improved for more immersion
-changed bolter damage and vats
-less chaos marines have plasma guns
-changed weapon damage and vats stats
buy things at vendors now
-new ammo type, bolt ammo
-plasma containment flask
-tau meshes and textures added
-interface icons added
-easter eggs, some in citadel, another near some gas* i keep running into
-adjusted prices of most things
-adjusted boltgun damage
-added powerswords
-added new lasguns
-changed bloodpact armor to be more realistic
-changed adeptus arbites to for more immersion
-adjusted weapons health
-some new npc's
-fixed some space marine height issues
-fixed armor of many veterans
-orks now have choppas
-money will be usefull now if you want alot of the armor
-orks got shootas
REQUIRES all mesh and texture files to run, including the latest mesh and textures #3
requires that you activate tauammo.esm or it will crash

-The C is for Chapters! as in chapter change,
-Name Change occurs during chapter change
-People in Oasis are now Eldar
-Boltgun Changes, more balanced
-Change plasma gun clip count from 25 to 15
-decrease plasma gun range, damage and fire rate
-changed some of the consoles in the citadel

New Addons to be released soon\


I will soon be realising a new addon for this mod, this addon will include the following:

  • Fortifications mod, fortifies more areas with npc's and defences
  • Anchorage addon
  • At least 2 new Space Marine Chapters¬† (Blood Angels and Emperor's Children)
  • Another Chaos Space Marine Chapter or legion (Nightlords)

I have chosen to add these chapters in next as they were requested by the community, if you would like another chapter that is not on the list, then request it to me and i will see about creating that chapter/legion.
screenshots will be incoming so keep an eye out

i will be re-uploading the first few mesh and textures, as to fix the installatin issues some people are having

with all these problems an assuming you have all the meshes and textures installed the problem is most likely that the .esm file you are running has become corrupt and requires a redownload

I'm having a couple issues with this mod. Yes I have use mods before. Yes I changed the code to allow for textures. And yes I have all mesh/texture folders. The Sherrif in Megaton has no body. He's a floating head with a hat. Some Dark Eldar around Megaton have giant red boxes with exclamation points, and the same is true of the Imp Guard in the Tenpenny Tower. This is a new game, haven't played in forever until I saw your mod. Any suggestions on fixes?

And also only like every third guy is actually a Space Marine. I killed the only Soul Drinker in uniform, took his stuff. Armor displayed fine, the plasma gun went buggy and has the red box.

im having similar issues as well. the scout goggles show as the red box with the ! in it, and the gloves on the blood raven armor isnt showing. i hold a gun with an invisible hand

I havent gotten far enough to tell if those particular skins do not work. As I said, my guy is only as far as about to blow Megaton into the Warp.

its actually north but i found them. the tau rail gun doesnt work, and there is no sound for the pulse rifle, it works though. do you plan on adding the heavy bolter?

sorry to keep asking, it gets annoying when this happens, but the ideas keep coming. Will the Grey Knights, the daemon hammer, and the terminator armor be added to the armory in the citadel?
