Out of boredom, more than anything else, I started working on a new direction for Reborn over Christmas holidays. V10. The most hardcore Fallout mod ever. Likely, anyhow. An up-front warning for everyone that this is gonna be a bitch to survive in. A much more challenging needs system, food poisoning (and cooking food to prevent it), double the damage dealt by every weapon, weapon slots, ammo maximums, decreased sell prices, increased buy prices, and generally a really balls-to-the wall game. Similar to V9, but tuned for the more hardcore virtual survivalists. I cannot stress that enough. There will be no place for noobs in V10. Anyhow, look forward to January 30, 2012, as you're gonna get a hardcore mod to kick off the new year.

Sounds scary as hell. As much as I'm loving v9 right now, I don't even know if I'd have the balls to try that out for very long. But I will! hehe
Oh, don't worry, it's not that bad. If you can play V9, you should be okay in V10. You might die a little more, but oh well :D

I'd request the option to enable VATS but based on Slayer's assessment of it I believe that would qualify me as a noob.
I love the Reborn mod, but I love VATS (a Fallout staple since the beginning) more. It just iisn't Fallout to me without it.
I would call VATS nooby, and unrealistic. However, I cannot deny the fact that it is epic. Hence why you should check the download page for reborn frequently over the next few days. Think of it as a present to kick off the new year.

I think that's the point of this mod. It's not just Fallout anymore. It's a survival horror epic.
