Version 9.0 has been uploaded! It can be found at the Downloads page of this mod. It's still a WIP, so expect some issues.

Post news Report RSS Fallout 3 Reborn Version 6 is Finished

Yep that's right... It's finally done. Read on for more details.

Posted by on

Well Fallout 3 Reborn Version 6 is complete. Most of my beta testers were unable to help out due to me having several issues with getting the damn file to them. However, I did my own testing and fixed most of the glitches. I also started adding a lot of new features. This is where the problem comes in.

I could wait another month and add the new features in over that month, THEN release V6. Or I could release V6 now and make a V7 set to release in 1-2 months. If you choose the first option, you'd miss out on a few really good new features (such as bullet-time and Sprinting) but you'll get them in a month or so when V7 comes out.

So you guys have to comment down there and tell me what you want to see done. I want to see at least 10 comments or I'll go for extending the release date of V6.

IN OTHER NEWS: I have started my own little website for my Reborn Mods (Currently there are three games I have mods released for). Feel free to check it out here: Video Games Reborn
You can also find out some info about me, a simple (but growing) modding glossary and some of my older mods based on making Quake 4 more realistic. Later on I will also expand the site with tutorials and more content.

Till next time,

Adam

I think everyone will be in favor of having all the improvements version 6 brings as soon as possible. The videos for it look absolutely amazing.I think ver. 6 would tide me over for 2 months, and then you might get more stuff added in to 7 you weren't planning on to begin with. great mod.

Possibly, and thanks for the compliment. But I want to see a large show of "hands". Otherwise I'll just wait and release a better product.

Thanks, but don't get too excited yet. I doubt 10 people will comment in favor of the early release.

personaly, i would like to have it available to play now....but i would rather have all the stuff in and all the testing done for the mod before full release.

It's been tested, any fixable glitches have been taken care of. The tree glitch remains, but what can you do? I've spent hours trying to fix it... no luck.

You will have to wait for the new stuff though.

same thing happening with the green world mod on the nexus....i think its hardcoded into the main game so unless you hack it, meh. dont really care about that part of things tho, will be too busy gunning down miscreants and baddies :D

That is an idea, I'll pay an online visit to some of the other green-tree modders :D

I think, as long as you fixed the broken gun textures, you should release the mod.
