Fall of Saigon is a Vietnam War modification for the Half-Life 2: source engine. The modification will be based in the realism of the Vietnam War, trying to portray things, events, and places as they actually were. The gameplay will also reflect as much of the realistic feeling as the development team is able to portray. The game will recreate the feeling of the jungle, or place the player in Saigon, or anywhere in between. The player will be emersed in all the sights and sounds of the jungle and will be able to use them to their advantage, and if they're not careful, it could be as dangerous as the enemy. Grab a rifle and enlist today.

The Fall of Saigon team has been hard at work to create the Vietnam War arsenal. There are numerous guns and grenades that have been modeled and skinned and are looking ready for action. So far the AK-47 and the M16-A1 rifles have been completed, along with the M3 Greese Gun, and the M8 and the M26 grenades are also ready. We are however looking for some additional team members to help us animate these models so that they are ready for use.
The rest of the team has been hard at work working on map props and maps, as well as the code team is hard at work on the initial team alpha which is nearing completion. We are still looking for some team members to help us out in getting the initial alpha ready. If you are interested in joining the team please stop by our website at www.FallofSaigonMod.com and let us know you are interested. Some of the positions we are looking for are:

The Fall of Saigon Team is looking for someone to create the players that we will need. We are looking for someone experienced in character modeling that can bring the US Forces and the NVA/VC to life. We would also like to find someone that can animate these models if the modeler does not have the skills to do this.
We are looking for an additional programmer that can assist our lead coder in polishing up the initial alpha and helping with coding of more features as we move forward.
Anyone else that is interested in helping please go to our website at www.FallofSaigonMod.com and let us know. Look forward to more media updates soon with progress on the map props and the levels that you will be emersed in.
