Fall of Empires is an in-development mod that extends the timeline of Victoria 2 back to the years 1500 to 1700, focusing on the vast and large-scale developments of the time. The mod focuses to cover on the major wars of the era as well as the political, social, and religious movements that progressed along with it. The Italian Wars, Wars of Religion, Sengoku Period, European Discovery and Colonization of the Americas, Rise of Gunpowder Empires, and many more important historical events are planned. The mod is still in very early development, although it is being worked on consistently. Several parts of the world and how they should be implemented are still being worked on, and borders and nations might not be completely historically accurate due to lack of information in those areas.
