Installation of mod: Unpack to your Men of War/mods folder
Description:
This pack contains 20 missions – there are no 3 missions, which we will add in future, because there are some problems with them. There are no training missions added. Missions are fully original, the only change is sky, there were no other changes yet. In future fixes we will change some things like equipment in tanks because some of them have .50 mg, but there is no ammunitions for it, because in MoW there is different ammunition then in Faces of War. Also we need to fix some textures – in about 3-4 missions, but this is only for visual effects. All missions work properly, there is only one problem with 2nd Russian mission – there is problem with gating units, which are under AI control, at the moment we don’t know what is wrong. We probably need to change mission proprieties to solve this problem. There are difficulty level settings, but because of the fact, that MoW has different weapons power and ranges, some missions are very difficult – much more difficult than they were in original Faces of War. Mod is fully translated into English – texts and voices which are the same as in original Faces of War, there is also Polish language version – also text and voice. We are working on German-language version now. If we get other language localization files, we will make other version of our mod – whatever you want. Those files need to be prepared to use – rar archives – we get some pak files, but there are some problems, that they can’t be open.
In near future we plan to fix mod, so it can work on Single Player without problems, because now it works properly only as cooperation in multiplayer.
If You find any bugs, errors and so on let us know so we can fix them. We tried to make this mod as good as possible, but we are just humans, and there can be some errors.
This modification is only made to give players ability to play Faces of War missions in Men of War, and for fun. Nothing more. We can say that it is Modification, made by players for players.

to people that have problems in 2nd soviet mission return the documents

note: don't delete the file in recycle bin if you have problems
i deleted the file and finished lubnin than i said next it loaded THE STRONGHOLD mission (no problems)
i have a problem its showing allied and axis campaigns with 4 other originals but its not showing soviet campaign
To fix Soviet mission 2, "Return the Documents",
if you cannot control your 5 Russian men at the start;
open the 0.mi file in Wordpad.
The 0.mi file for this mission is in this folder;
MEN of WAR\mods\FACES OF WAR missions pack\resource\map\single\soviets\1-2-docs_return
Where it has this line {Human "single/rus/sniper" 0x8012,
under it change {Player 1} to {Player 4}, save then close.
When the mission starts one of your Russian men will shoot the sniper.
Then ( most times ) they will move forward a few meters a second time,
which reaches the trigger point where they become controllable.
You should then instantly set your men to hold fire so they don't give their position away.
You can then heal the sniper which then becomes your man.
Your men cannot kill him after that.
Stay away from the map border white fog.
If your man falls wounded into it, you cannot get to heal him.
I just discovered this answer now by trial and error.
Right now, I have not yet finished playing this mission.
they killed the sniper, that is the point right?
How to unlock all missions in this mod?
I have got problems with russian's and u.s.a's mission 2
Seems to be a very nice port I've never played FOW therefore it's awesome I just wish I could play more than the Allies campaign from it. I can't see the other campaigns and I also can't change my resolution to 1280x1024 as I'm sitting on a Lap Top. I think the original campaigns should have been disabled or deleted out of the menu while the FAW mod is active. That would have prevented such issues for some of us people.
Perhaps you or somebody else could upload some savegames 1.17.5
of the beginning of all campaign missions then we don't need the campaign menu.

I need your help making a map. I am making a Call of duty based mission from Call of Duty:Finest Hour. Look up Call of Duty Finest Hour - Eastern Front, Mission 2. I need you to analyze it and then create a map based on it. I can handle everything after this. We will both be given credit for the mission. It is your choice or not if you want to help. I am just a fan of Call of Duty and always wanted to see it on Men of War. Send me a message if you want to help
Would anyone be able to give me the mission code to bypass the second Soviet mission?, none of the units are playable and im not sure of any other way to get past it.
