The mod is going to bring the PS3/arcade game Extreme VS to your PC by modding the one and only: Ultimate knight windomp xp. The mod will be using the 2.004 version of the game, the most stable update at the moment.
Really like this mod. My only gripes with the "Game" are that the "Curious factory" did not make use of the ability of dual analog controllers for independent movement and camera scheme.
Having a targeting scheme completely dependent on a lock on function does tend to make the control method a little stiff. Especially when boosting and evading. Lets see if updates to the Game incorporate this in future releases. Have not played the "Gundam Extreme vs" Arcade version of the game but I sure dual analogs are used this way.
But if this game and mod hope to emulate it. This will be a very important thing to consider. Controllers can be used for PC gaming especially arcade games like this. But they need to make full use of the controller.
Also some of the Maps should have been zero gravity just have the boost permanantly on.
Even so this is an enjoyable game for Mech heads.
