9 comments by RevanShan on Aug 28th, 2012

The seventh public beta of Europe 1200 Warband has been released. Including 4 new factions, work on scenes, new enhancements and features, and a map expansion, as we start to cover Eastern-Europe.

Command your party and find your way to glory in the Western and Central Europe of 1200. Will you fight over the English Crown ? Or perhaps serve under the orders of Polish Nobles?

With this beta we've added 4 new historical factions, the Principality of Arber, the Bulgarian Tsardom, the Principality of the Rhodopes and the Kingdom of Poland. This version includes 133 new settlements and a bunch of new items, among with a good number of fixes, and a great lot of enhancements. Military Orders also got revised.

Just like we've said in previous messages, Europe 1200 aims for a complete Europe, and the team is working on all the independent historical factions that existed in 1200. From West to East. We started with Iberia, and we'll finish with Egypt and the Crusader States. In the end the player will be able to travel from Toledo to Costantinople, and take part in any conflict.

Beta 7 is having some problems with me where not a single war party can be found roaming the map at all. The only things that roam my map are small bands of 10 looters while all the Earls and Lords refuse to leave their castles.

Incredible mod... But, I find that on the Overview Map, it sometimes jumps when something happens, like one faction declaring war on another - whilst this may just be me, if it isn't, is there a simple fix?
Regardless, loving the Mod - BEST EVER :) Keep going ;D

This is one of the best mods out there for MBW it has so much historically correct content it makes you feel like your really in the game but the main problem with it is the lack of improvement you can do to the troops. It needs to have all the upgrades avalible in the real MBW and the new units also need to have more upgrades so that people will want to level up there troops just to see whats next.

Well, actually the knights of St.John moved to Malta in the 16th century after Suleiman the Magnificent took their previous base on the Island of Rhodes. Before Rhodes their bases were in Antioch and later on Cyprus.

Well; i know that it's a BETA version, but stil i find it a bit creapy finding exact copies of myself in the different cities. But with this said the only thing about this mod is some minor details, and the fact that it has not been released yet. The MOD sums up a brilliant view of 1200AD Europe and has all the major factions, and even som minor ones, in the game. The Persons within the MOD has the correct names, and the kingdom sizes are pretty corect. Some of the shorelines might be a bit rough…
