The moment you have all been waiting for is back once again. This week we have some great player model wallpapers of the NGM Marine. Tweek has also been very busy, infact he is tearing through our ship lineup and completed 3 just this week, and now we have to start inventing new designs to feed his hunger. We will be featuring one of these models in today's update.
First off, the NGM Marine Wallpapers. Raz has been hard at work preparing for the GDC and in his frenzy he updated the skin for the NGM marine and rendered these beautiful wallpaper shots. I think they speak for themselves:
Finally, the UTF Heavy Fighter by Tweek. He really nailed this one (first try actually) and I think it's his best model yet:
On the coding front, we are still fixing the kinks in our relief shading... I know it has been a long time but there are some odd bugs with custom shaders and source, so we are ironing those out. We are also hard at work with the space portion, this week has seen the implementation of a third person view, a basic HUD and some other goodies which don't seem as impressive, but we think they're cool cuz we're programmers.
