The team pass a big milestone and release more information about the upcoming release and press events.

ES has reached another big milestone. We've finalized the maps for our 3.0 release. All that's left now is putting together installers and getting those properly tested. To continue from last weeks update, we're bringing you the last 3 help screens from inside ES. These explain the space HUD, spawn screen and game flow. We've added gunship spawning in this release, so make sure you know where to find that gunship spawn button so you can be right in the action.


If all goes to plan we'll be able to release our mapping specs and server binaries a week before the client release. We're looking forward to seeing community maps for 3.0. If you're a mapper willing to put some time into a level for 3.0, get in touch with us.

We're still looking for beta testers, if you want a sneak peek at what's to come, PM Reap3r in the forums. We will also be hosting various press events in following weeks. If you are a member of the press and wish to preview ES, please contact us by PM.

I'd also like to quickly point out that our very generous server providers, NuclearFallout, have provided us with more servers to test with. A very big thanks to everyone at NuclearFallout, we wouldn't be able to run our beta tests without them.

'Spawn at enemy CP' - does it need to be hacked first to allow hostile spawning?

Depends. If its secured by a hacker, you need to un-secure it, capture it and then you can spawn.
