So erm yeah, I have to have 200 characters here or else, so I started the idea for the original 'Escape-The Scientist' mod at christmas 2009, jotting down pictures, writing scripts, but nearly 2 months ago, i lost all the data on the computer that id worked on and considering i get into things quickly it was quite alot. So thats why I had to start again only this time I had alot more ideas to throw in, considering im the only guy working on it. As you can see Ive got a nice little script going so far which is a complete re-write of the original story, characters and plot elements, most of the puzzles ive managed to salvage because they were also still on paper (thank Jebus). But alas none of my maps and textures had been saved, the textures were crap anyway but i still lost all 12 maps done so far. So here I am starting a long process all over again yet I think ive made significant progress considering im now woeking with 2 different angines at once just to see if it does look and feel better, dont worry tho as the Goldsource one will definately be out first as the UDK one will need alot of programming and re-modeling and bump mapping textures which I find hard to do so just think of the UDK version as a side-line project to see if the mod can actually be turned into a full feature stand alone version with obviously more content as the engine can handle quite alot compared to GoldSource. Anyway thanks for all the comments and dont forget to track.
Sorry for the long disapearance, but I had family problems to sort out, anyway im back full time although my friend is wanting me to dod alot of scripting for his WoW public server, XD. Dont get what? Ive been away, had to start from scratch and this was all done in one night, its scripted, textured, lighted and compiled. I just dont like revealing too much of the fun stuff otherwise it ruins the game when I release it. I dont want to play Arkham City anymore cause all the trailers havw shown all the best bits........
Im finally back, ive uploaded a quick video to sort of prove it, the masp in view are near the start of the game and took me about an hour to light and compile, as you know I dont like showing off too much (it spoils the final product: like a movie trailer showing all the best bits) so its nice and short., Hope you like the new logo aswell :D
