This mod is intended to give SWAT4 a much needed graphical upgrade on most equipment. Some protective gear such as helmets and gasmasks are added and most weapons have received some aesthetic and audio related changes. Some AI tweaks might be added as well.

Still have to do the animations, gunsmoke and what not.. but the model is there and it seems to be working ok.

Looks fantastic. I can't wait to give it a try myself. Interesting, but probably unnecessary, heat shield addition you have there on the barrel (unless you are using the same model for a regular Mossberg 500). I could be wrong about this but I don't think the X12 produces any gun smoke based on what I've seen.

Ran into some trouble with the taser rounds not working consistently when fired from the mossberg while it works perfectly when fired from stock shotguns. this probably has to do with the animations. A lot of calculations are done using the animation playtimes. Like I've stated before, animations really are my weakest skill. If I don't figure this out soon I will just release the XREP ammunition using a stock shotgun for the time being.

ww3kid, you're right about the model. I made a regular mossberg for this mod already, just slapped the yellow stock on it for the X12.

That's unfortunate. For me, the X12 really sells the idea and the package. Plus, it just looks great. While I truly hope you can smooth everything out with the animations I'm not going to lose sleep over the X12. It just means you'll have more time to work on other great things.

I know what you mean and I'm sure I'll eventually solve the problems.
However, I used to assume the XREP rounds had to be fired by the X12, hence why I replicated it in the mod. Now after a tiny bit of research I found out the round can be fired from any 12 gage shotgun.

I'm sure I can make it all work eventually, I just don't think I should halt the release of the first version (call it alpha, beta or 1.0) because the X12 isn't functioning the way I want it. It'll come for sure and I'll probably spend some time on it in the next few days. I might get it to work properly in the next few days, but if not.. It'll just be something for an update later on.

Well good news everybody. I fixed the X12.
I'm sorry things take longer than you'd think. There is no good documentation on most of this stuff and the ancient versions of the software I have to work with don't help much either.
