Stolen assets were used in the making of this Amnesia mod: enemy models from The Great Work and A Coward's Debt mods. Creator asked permission to use a model belonging to crisosphinx, and the request was denied. Creator used stolen assets anyway.

is a real shame that people are behaving like children over 1 or 2 stolen assets; objectively i can say that this mod is a solid 10/10

That was a cool mod to run through, enjoyed it much more then Premonition!
. . . . . . . . . . . . . .

This is very good! I can get immersed in it very well! and the atmosphere is quite creepy you can get scared off of it just by the sounds! just like the normal Amnesia the Dark Descent Game!! :D I love it to death

Finished it! Before anyone starts giving minuses to this rating, allow me a question if I do have the right to rate THE MOD itself according to cold logic and facts. Because I think the mod itself deserves honest review based on facts and logic. Thank you.

So lets start:

Positives:
+ Insane amount of work input
+ Very cool effects and details
+ Some scares or events caught me off guard
+ Variable environments
+ VERY big amount of custom stuff, probably the biggest I have ever seen
+ Is far away from normal and that is what I like when a mod is like that

Negatives:
- LAGS. For me the biggest minus of this whole mod are the requirements, because I had to play this on ultra low settings so I could have somehow stable FPS. Just, I really think this engine is not meant to carry on with maps like this.
- I broke the game more than once (for example in snow level) and had to re-load because I could not continue, and there was not much autosaves at least from what I saw
- Some effects were so blurry and unstable that I was not even able to see anything
- TOO LITTLE amount of charge points! My battery was dead more time than it was necessary.
- There was one big unnecessary conflict that would never happen if I could warn the creator about NOT using the forbidden content sooner.

Neurtral facts:
- The story was very simple, if I understood it correctly it was about a guy who has random nightmares and appears in different positions or memories.
- My stuff is in this mod, nice! But sadly I was not in the credits :( Well who cares actually
- There were areas that I liked a lot and there were areas that I did not like at all. Like in most mods, but this was very contrasting. I liked the technology and hospital parts but the third chapter outside area was too frustrating.

Overall: THE MOD is result of vast amount of hard work and patience that would drive most of people insane. I do not know if the updated version has the forbidden content removed or my name added to the credits but yeah, worth a try, if you have serious PC, this really is "A game made in another game"

You removed the copyrighted files in the new version, which I sincerely appreciate. I'll up the rating a bit for the kinda quick fixed issue.

I will maybe play this at a later time, mainly to see how the mod itself is which will hopefully up the rating even further.

DnA's custom stories are always a treat in originality and madness. This custom story touches on a sensitive matter that I won't reveal here, which adds that much needed story element to the overall great gameplay. What you'll get here are various different maps/settings to traverse, decently made puzzles to solve, and a story that may be upsetting, if it's not a bit confusing.

It's only a 9 and not a 10 because of minor bugs and one bug that stopped me from progressing temporarily. Otherwise, it really is a custom story that should be played.

Overall, I really enjoyed it, and I hope DnA continues to make custom stories (SOMA PLEASE!!)

I've completed Enigma here Youtube.com.

So first of all, what is it with you people? I admit the creator used some stuff he shouldn't have used, as it wasn't free to use. The creator 'stole' it, that's true. But shortly after, he fixed his mistake by removing the stuff from Enigma, and I think that should be seen as a realisation of a mistake, and should be forgiven. We're all people, we all make mistakes.

As for Enigma itself. It is outstanding. I cannot find words that would describe what I have just finished playing.

Excellent design. My eyes were stunned, as they had never been before, by seeing the environment in the second chapter. I LOVED that area! The rest was great, too. Perfect sense of detail you have there!

Puzzles. Many unique elements and ideas. Some of them took me a long time to find the solutions, yet they were never disapponting nor annoying.

Those who played Premonition will recognise the interface, an original one, which suits the custom story well.

This is a masterpiece, and should be considered well made. For that 'stolen stuff' that WAS REMOVED, the author should no longer be criticised, as he fixed the wrong step he had taken.

Despite all the unsatisfied people, I must say: OUTRAGEOUS JOB!
I'm one of the players that really and honestly enjoyed your Enigma. If you think those 4,500 hours worth of work were wasted, then believe me, they were not. You made this for enjoyment, not for criticism.

However, I have to mention one thing that annoyed me a lot while playing. It was the dog in the third chapter. It is barely possible to be spotted, it kept pursuing me wherever I went. I was even unable to at least get to the other side of the area. It took at least 20 tries. At the end, I trapped the dog in that abandoned shaft (or whatever it is) near the grave. You should definitelly make it less annoying and disturbing.

Finally after so many years i got a computer good enough to be able to even finish this :D It was outstanding, in many ways, although i think you've pushed the engine's limits a bit too far this time..

In 2021, a good gamer laptop cannot handle some of the maps properly, which i haven't experienced on any mod i played in the last few years.

The ideas are fresh, unique, even to your standards. I really enjoyed the events you put into the mod, the lantern idea was one of a kind, but a bit annoying gameplay wise. Some effects looked weird and the checkpoints were all bugged and broke the scripts sadly..

The maps had good variety, were a bit disconnected. Sometimes i had to even call out for the help of a walkthrough, since the environments were so detailed i often missed things with interactions :D Definitely one of the best modern looking mods out there, just a bit disorienting in certain areas.

You managed to get proper neat voice acting for it. The story wasn't anything special, but it was enough to keep me interested. It had a good amount of readables but not too much.

It had good length, and a bit anticlimatic ending. I personally think Premonition was the best in your career, but this is a close second one and a true worth of your time and effort. It definitely deserves much higher praise than it received due to the unfortunate calamity back then. Good job sir, i really hope to see something somewhere from you again of a similar scale!

Mod is very good, but story is a little bit confused.
