Enemy Within mod for Half-Life 2

What is Enemy Within?

"Enemy Within" is an action/horror single player modification for Half-Life 2. This means that EW itself is a free download. However, you need to own Half-Life 2 and Counter-Strike: Source to play it.

Enemy Within is completely unrelated to Half-Life and it is therefore assumed that none of the events in Half-Life ever took place.

Enemy Within is a heavily story-driven mod. It takes place in the year 2021, and you take the role of a former Special Forces operative, now working in the security force for a highly secretive research organization. A quite short description, and it might also look quite clichéd, but the story is meant to be experienced in the game and not read on a website.

Instead of attempting to create the entire mod at once, Enemy Within will be released in three different segments, each with a different name associated with it.

Any new features?

The first episode of Enemy Within is set to include only a few minor code changes, so don't expect anything major such as new enemies or weapons. This may turn out to be different in the second or third episode, depending on how much support I can manage to find. Despite having no major new features, it is still my hope that I can create a unique and interesting singleplayer experience. EW is still set to include many new art assets and new audio.
