This are motorized infantry, and they use trucks.
The motorized infantry used trucks (like Opel Blitz, GMC, Bedford, etc) and the mechanized infantry used halftracks (like M3, Sd.Kfz.251, Bren Carrier, etc).
The picture is correct.
i would be expecting panzer grenadiers.
