Enderal - The Shards of Order is a total conversion in development for Skyrim and the sequel to Nehrim: At Fate's Edge by SureAI. The story of Enderal is not set in the Elder Scrolls world of Tamriel, but takes place in its own universe, creating a new, interesting world completely unrelated to Skyrim with a complex, dark storyline and thousands of secrets to discover.

Greetings,

it's time to show you a small sample of Enderal's English voice acting. This video shows you its intro, which explains what happened back in Nehrim.

We hope you enjoyed this small insight in the English voice acting - all in all there will be over 30 VAs for Enderal's English version :-)

Though this video is already several months old I saw it wasn't shown here yet and it is certainly interesting if you want to know more about the landscape...

Will it be possible to own (buy or build) a building in here, other than just own some Nehrim chests?

Yep, there will be a couple of houses the player can buy. You will even be able to craft your own furniture and place it the way you want. Youtube.com

Will there be a way to include custom music in Enderal? I know Skyrim wasn't as simple to add music as was Oblivion. I spent a little while throwing in some extra tunes (mainly classical) into Nehrim and it worked a treat. Probably my most memorable moment in the game was climbing to the top of Lightfire at sunset, and then this started playing: Youtube.com
Magic. :)

Well, there won't be an option integrated into the launcher, but with little modding knowledge, this could be done quite easily. Beautiful piece of music, by the way!

So... what mods, if any, would work properly in this game?

I also wouldn't recommend using texture replacers - we replaced many textures, but always with regard for performance issues. Many popular texture mods don't really enhance the quality of a texture (better normals/speculars, just a better texture in general), but simply double the image size (and thus making performance and loading times a lot worse), without making any changes to the actual textures. The Witcher 3 is a good example of great textures - believe it or not, most of the textures have a similar size (particularly for environments) as Skyrim's textures (hardly ever more than 1k), but look magnificent. So, please - before installing any texture mods, take a look at the actual game once it's out. :)

Texture Replacers, though pls carefully test the limit before you just copy over any textures from Skyrim as Enderal is rather close to the 3,5 GB RAM limit.
Also some script based mods, but there you need to test which.

In general all mods which do not need the skyrim.esm - as using those can get you into real trouble in Enderal as those mods often take refs from Skyri's skyrim.esm which are not used or even used differently in Enderal.
