Enderal - The Shards of Order is a total conversion in development for Skyrim and the sequel to Nehrim: At Fate's Edge by SureAI. The story of Enderal is not set in the Elder Scrolls world of Tamriel, but takes place in its own universe, creating a new, interesting world completely unrelated to Skyrim with a complex, dark storyline and thousands of secrets to discover.

Hello everyone,

As some of you might already know, we're using Articy Draft, a gamedesign/storywriting-tool from Nevigo since the early stages of development.

Recently, they've interviewed us about the experiences we made with Articy, and published a little showcase on their blog, which can be read here. Those who look carefully enough might even spot some new screenshots!

Once again, a big thanks to Nevigo, who sold us their software for special conditions and thus facilitate the development progress a lot! :)

All the best,

Hi PPoe,

1 Video a month would be an insane amount of work - But the next one is in the making. We want to make sure that every episode is something new and interesting. :)

It looks really good. I love most parts of Nehrim, and I see that Enderal will be at least as good as that was. ... I have a suggestion though, if there will be an achievement system like in Nehrim, then it would be a good idea to make them useful, not just for show. For example, Surviving a fight with 1 health point could give a permanent effect or stat buff, or surviving continuous lava contact for a certain period could give x% to fire resistance or even immunity.

That looks awesome, and it seems a great sequel to Nehrim, which I am still playing (auf deutsch). I would love to see any updates you have in German. I am a classical musician and sing in German. Games like this are an engrossing way to practice another language. I must assume there will be a version of this in German?

Of course! We're still developing in German. And we might also release an English version with German voice acting, but we're not sure about that yet. :)

Also, I would love to volunteer my services as an English translation proofreader. You have very few mistakes on your website, and I haven't played the English version of Nehrim, but I have experience proofreading English documents, specifically those written by German-speakers. I spent two years in Austria, and tutored English. I can provide examples of my work in original and corrected forms. Would the niseam@riseup.net be an appropriate place to send that? For example, on SureAi's page for projects/enderal under the heading "Who exactly are we" you say "lot of patience" where it should be either "a lot" or "lots". I love doing this and really would like to be involved in what you guys are doing, so let me know if I can help.

I saw above that there is someone to contact about English voice-acting samples. I am a vocal performance major, and I'm interested. How long will you be taking samples here niseam@riseup.net?

Don't mind German voice acting as long as we get English subtitles. I loved Nehrim and I would love to see what you guys do on the new engine, good luck guys!
