Enderal is a total conversion in development for Skyrim and the sequel to Nehrim: At Fate's Edge by SureAI. The story of Enderal is not set in the Elder Scrolls world of Tamriel, but takes place in its own universe, creating a new, interesting world completely unrelated to Skyrim with a complex, dark storyline and thousands of secrets to discover.

today we want to introduce you to a new feature, whose realisation has been made possible by two talented, new illustratos/concept artists who have joined us recently: Illustrated Loadingscreens.
While we liked the rotatable 3D-Models of Skyrim (Yeah, they are actually rotatable! :-D), we still loved the idea and the feeling of hand-drawn, illustrated pictures to ease the waiting times.

I for one did not like those rotating 3D models in Skyrim, they were out of place, maybe in Deus Ex or something, but for a fantasy RPG I think you made a wise desition. Looks really nice as usual.
Or still life animations. Where just enough is animated to show that it is Alive. Like the fires moves in the first. Or a slight sway to the trees and a running stream in the second. Or flickering lights and some windblown snow in the last.
Great illustrations! I am incredibly impressed (and envious) your projects are able to attract such dedicated and talented people! I am very eager to play this mod when it comes out!
Wow, epic. I think you can never go with to much concept art and artwork in a game. Most of the time it's really beautiful, so why not show it off :)?

Really nice! They might look cool with a bit of animation. Maybe just blending between two frames.
