NOTE: This is an archived version of Empires Mod. Download the latest version of Empires Mod on Steam! This will install the Empires v2.30 client. The Orange Box version of Source SDK Base is required to play this game, and comes free with the purchase of almost any Source-based game from Valve. This installer does not require you to have previously installed Empires.

Finally! Remember, if you don't have a source game, just download Alien Swarm for free and you can play Empires.
I'm not sure if that works at all. Technically it is not supposed to happen. I'll check if it somehow can be done.
You should add walkers :D. With machine guns and rocket launchers!

I'm so amazingly confused it's starting to **** me off... I cannot play this game because apparently my engine is missing something but it doesn't MAKE SENSE cause everything else works! OnGameRulesCreationStringChanged: missing gamerules class "CEmpGameRules" on the client.
Try reinstalling HL2. It might fix it.
This mod looks really cool.
Would i be better off downloading the .exe from Moddb or downloading via Steam?
EDIT: Sorry, Should have read into it more; Steam version released more recently that .exe. I'll download from Steam.
Im sorry if this appears to be a stupid question, but does this mod require Half-Life 2? Or can Counter-Strike Source/Day of Defeat Source be used to run it.
