This mod catapults Empire at War into 2077. It maintains the game's design philosophy, while adding new units, better graphics, and deeper gameplay.
1400 meter long rebel capital-cracker. Model and texture by me.
Buildable at tier 5, the Starhawk has 1 ultra heavy proton torpedo launcher, 2 rapid fire missile launchers, 2 rapid fire heavy missile launchers, 1 shield generator, and 4 laser cannons.
Built as a 24 hour build, I'm very happy with how this came out. The VOD of the build is available on my youtube channel: Youtube.com

Despite no longer looking anything like the Keldabe/Kedalbe, for me it will always be the "Rebel Kedalbe" The "Rebalde!"... or Rebeldabe
Yeah, those first 10 hours of that stream...painful, finding 5 different ways to build a new Keldabe, but not the goddamn rebel ship we were supposed to be building. Got it in the end though! And this one only took half that time. Ohhhh the irony...
(buried)
This was needed, the rebels cant do anything to the empires capital ships
That's just untrue. There's plenty of ways both the rebellion and underworld can cost-effectively deal with Imperial capital ships.
The assymmetrical warfare system exists in the mod to punish players who smash their fleets into the Imperial battleline, so on one hand I'm glad to see it's working as intended, on the other it's rather annoying to see those people comment stating their inaptitude as facts.
I have a concern about stability. This battleship has missile launchers as his main weapons, and they fire at even higher rate. Since the rebels fleet has already got too much missile ships it may be a hard blow for FPS and CTD issue.
What i'm supposed to use the rebel capitals as more tanky ships and actually use my bombers for most of my damage?
Do i actually have to micro my forces and target shield gens and hangars so my ships can better combat larger ships?
What's actually planning and properly using my forces instead of playing all factions like the Empire and throwing capitals at everything?
I like the way its set up.
Nice
Ah so you went with the hanger bay being by the industrial piping 😆
I moved them to the side so in my mind I could justify the piping bending out internally.
The piping splits off into much smaller pipes just to either go around and/or through the hanger.
That's how I envisioned it. Still not ideal, but better than having the pipes lead directly into the hangars.
This design looks really familiar from something post RotJ in the old EU
Not a fan of new lore, but damn this looks really good.
Rotating that front double-hatchet part 90° around the ship's roll axis would be an interesting variant, IMO.
The front missiles' firing range would be concentric circles meaning every one of them would fire at the same time once the enemy is in range.
Also, it would positively impact the ship's XY-plane maneuverability a bit.
Probably not an improvement but a nice variant.
Or maybe even have it as an ability to rotate between two "modes" - vertical and horizontal. That would look cool.
