Just think about it. This model is FAR MORE SUPERIOR than the fuggly model RAW has and unlike RAW, the better model is not in the Clone Wars era... and is made by one man, for probably less than four months while the RAW needed 4 years...
You sir, are amazing!

You do realize both models are made by Warb Null?

Both models? No, just the Republic at War model. I took Warbs Republic at War Providence model and turned it into what you see in the images. That took me quite a bit of work, actually. In the description I linked several images to Warbs original as seen in Republic at War. I do want that sweet sweet credit for the difference between his and mine.

Well, not really. We parted ways soon after we initially came together. They're free to use the new CIS models though.

Hey Jeroen, just a question about the new Munificent and Providence. Will they have those 'Zeppelin' style engine sounds? Present in both RotS and Republic at War? Loving your work!

Sound effects are really not something I'm focussed on right now. Maybe later.

Which faction will build these bad boys? I really hope the rebels will be able to.

No turrets I take it? Can't say I blame you if that's the case, it's hard to make them look good with the ship's shape.

I did not even try. The fact that this ship, equiped with 0 turrets, is one of my all time favorite works, proves that my earlier attempts to equip ships with turrets just to make them appear more detailed, were futile. I will not try to force turrets on a new ship ever again, if this ship can exist and be my all time favorite visual artpiece, then the use of moving turrets, has run its course. No more turrets if they are not requiered on future ships.

I wouldnt call it a futile attempt. The main reason i started to play with ORAW and later EAW:RE, were the incredibly detailed ships, including the rotating turrets.
I dont remember if you were the first one to use them or not, but definetely you were the first one, who used them effectively.

Not sure if you noticed, but that ship was kinda destroyed at the start of III.

Description

This took a while from start to finish, but I'm very happy with the end result. The Providence is a very fun ship to use, quite powerful and armed with versatile weapons. I may do a video on it later.

The Providence model and texture were made by Warb Null, but went through some heavy modifications by me to get it to what it looks like now. Warbs original: Moddb.com Moddb.com Moddb.com
