This mod catapults Empire at War into 2077. It maintains the game's design philosophy, while adding new units, better graphics, and deeper gameplay.
Turns out the pirates have expanded their base of operations. Organized crime is serious business.
Tonight I found a 4 year old starbase I built when I went through some of my old files. Spent a lot of time on this when I was really bad at making stuff. Now, we all know I'm still very bad at making stuff, but I refined the process a little over the course of 4 years. Still, leaving this ancient massive time sink to rot is something I just couldn't live with. So I patched its texture up, rigged it, and now it serves as a pirate starbase.
More health, slightly more firepower. Actually very close to the original, I just wanted it to be slightly more of a challenge to take down. If you want to see the original, originally intended to serve as a Sith starbase for my Old Republic mod, you can see it here: Moddb.com
The large structure hovering over top of the station is the shield generator, and that whole section will explode when you destroy it.
It looks awesome!! :OO
And since it has 3 individual parts, will they rotate at different angular velocities and directions?
(please, please, please make them rotate at different angular velocities and directions)
Nope, wont be doing idle animations since they are interupted when the station starts attacking. Otherwise I'd have gladly used that.
Looks like it no longer is a joke taking down a pirate base. I approve of this tbh.
Dude this looks awsome.
How the **** would a Pirate gang even capture this. Looks like something the Empire or Rebellion would use XD
