This mod catapults Empire at War into 2077. It maintains the game's design philosophy, while adding new units, better graphics, and deeper gameplay.
You better toss a star destroyer or something larger at it, for it'll wipe the floor with anything inferior.
Hm, it reminds me the gateway above Scarif. And yeah, it's awesome! :)
Yes! Finally something to replace the old station!!!!
looks perfect.
Looking good. In the other preview I saw some heavy turrets and it has a lot of hangers so what kind of other weapons will it have?
The station boasts a LOT of armor, those turbolaser turrets, 12 super heavy conc missile launchers and several laser cannons.
So is this going to be "Tankier" in comparison to the other faction's stations?
This wasn't actually meant to replace the starbase itself, this is meant to be an extra defensive station you can build in addition. I do see how it could actually replace the starbase itself though. Mmm, I'll have to think about it.
What if this was a T6 Station, and you upgraded the Level 5 Station to get access to this? Or maybe this and the regular station share the same slot. Say you build a Level 1 station because you're short on funds and need something to start producing more vessels. Or you build this instead, have it be very expensive to make up for the fact that you're essentially skipping 5 starbase levels. Just some ideas.
In the words of Cap'n Jack, "much more better!"
"It is the drawing, of a key!"
I'm just thinking out loud here, but if it's something you're interested in, maybe you could make something like this for all three factions. The Empire could get one or more of their Golan Platforms and the Rebels could get one of the XQ platforms.
Mmm, not a bad idea at all. I'll think about it.
A good Golan platform would be nice to see. There's some decent ones floating around for sure but I want to see some turrets like this battle station.
This station looks truly awesome in every way. That energy field looks realistic!
stunning
you are a majestic human. Pure stunning beauty (no not the station, but you!!!)
Thanks man :)
