This mod catapults Empire at War into 2077. It maintains the game's design philosophy, while adding new units, better graphics, and deeper gameplay.
This is the full redesigned Tycon Station. It used to be a sphere. Now it's something more.
Unsure if I'll use it in the mod or not.
Woah!

If I didn't know better I'd call aprils fool, bloody hell!!!
Amazing
Man, I'd hate to be the crew that would have to gently move an ISD in and out of that station. One wrong move and everything is going to ****.
Now it looks like a puzzle box.
Use it as a station through an engagement section in an imperial controlled planet (a few specific ones like Kuat, the Maw and such) to be able to be captured (only by imperials and must cost a price) and used in that tactical space segment. Like there were similar ideas done in some other mods. I think it would be a very interesting idea. There could even be one for the rebels side on specific planetary systems (e.g. Mon calamari). Well anyway it would be amazing to be included into the mod as a patch or something. So much hype!!!
It could also be used as a limited production space station. Say the empire can produce a make of 5 at any given time.
I think it should be used like it was in the "mod that shall not be named" where it warps into a system and then spawns a group of isds protecting it, the it should get passive repair for all imperial vessels within it's radious, or it could heal isds with a docking ability. That would be so cool!
Or it could just spawn all 12 isds one by one as their repaired or destroyed, but wouldn't that be op?
