Hey! Could you make a bridge comparison with the ISD. Please? Normally with my comparison SSD's bridge should be 2.3 to 2.5 time bigger than ISD one.
Theforce.net Look at bridge size of the third ISD bridge and the Executor, I've photoshoped it to obtain the same window size and previously said scale factor.
they had secondary command systems, but
"The collision's resulting explosion, largely caused by the A-wing's wedge-shaped design and explosive fuel system,[6] instantly killed Piett and destroyed the Executor's main navigation complex, tearing through the bridge and into the rear of the command tower, enabling the damage to spread.[2] A series of explosions set off a chain reaction from power station to power station along the middle third of the massive Super Star Destroyer, producing another set of colossal explosions that buckled the Executor at right angles and sent it spinning toward the Death Star. With its flight systems gone[139] and damage-control crews failing to regain command of the ship from auxiliary control centers, the Executor was pulled into the Death Star's powerful gravity well and began one final, long descent toward the battlestation.[142] "
Ok.... but I am not buying the whole "one 'relatively' small explosion created a series of explosions that exploded a whole bunch of other stuff..." explanation. Even if it is EU canon. There had to be safeguards to prevent these kind of chain explosions. I mean, I am assuming they have fuses and other forms of power-surge protections. A much more compelling suggestion was that there were rebel sympathizers either onboard the Executor (that either were part of the secondary bridge team or took over the secondary bridge) and actually drove the ship into the Death Star II or were on board the Death Star II (either part of a tractor beam crew or took one over) and pulled the temporarily crippled Executor into the Death Star II which would have happened eventually without tractor beam help due to the gravity of the station, but (without help) certainly not before the secondary bridge team regained control and achieved a stable orbit. Either of those explanations seem much more likely than... "there were so many explosions causing explosions that caused more explosions because.... explosions.....because big ships like this are designed to be blown up easily..." :/
It reminds me of the pathetic-ly easy destruction of the Knight Hammer by a Jedi that sneaks onboard and blows up the main hangar bay... like there wouldn't be safeguards in place for that? And no one was around to notice? And the reactor isn't shielded? And proton torpedoes and bombs and concussion missiles are all inert until individually armed, meaning chain reactions created by one explosion are impossible..... ugh *facepalm* In reality Daala would have totally destroyed the Jedi Praxium on Yavin IV.

Sorry if you already talk about that on your live podcast but I don't really have the time to watch it. When in doubt, I prefer to post that.
The Executors bridge is the same as the ISDs. Everything around said bridge is brand new though.
[A-Wing Intensifies]
dos Shield generators
"Intensify forward firepower!"
"Too late!"
You would think they would have a battle CIC in the heart of the ship during battle...

If that's the case why wouldn't a large missile simply do the trick?
Is it starfighter proof?
will this be in the new release when it comes out for those of us that don't know how to code it
Yup, this'll be in the new release.
