This mod catapults Empire at War into 2077. It maintains the game's design philosophy, while adding new units, better graphics, and deeper gameplay.
Hi guys, Next month I'll be doing a closed beta test of the development version of the mod.
To get into the closed-beta test you need to have pledged $5 or more to the Executor fund or the mods Patreon page. This is partially a thank-you to everyone who've pledged to the Executor and partially a way for me to find some bugs in the development version of the mod, I thought it'd be nice to combine them to show my appreciation to everyone who've shown their support for the mod. On the tenth of next month (So the 10th of July) I'll send everyone who's pledged an invite to a private group on moddb where we can discuss the beta and host the files.
Some of you may say "What? A Patreon for a mod page? Unheard of!" Indeed it is, I don't know any other mod that's set up one, but after seeing how much support the Executor got, I felt it fitting to also set up a patreon for if people want to support the mod in a more passive way. There's even Patreon rewards! This is the mods Patreon page: Patreon.com
This is the mods discord server, where people talk about the mod, star wars related matters and other random stuff, everyone is welcome: Discordapp.com
I've had a Patreon for my mod for over a month now and have 11 patrons, mine is setup so that people will be able to test my mods updates/patches so they will be more stable on release and it comes with a private discord for those who pledge to see work in progress units coming to the mod before they are posted on moddb and even talk and report bugs for the updates they test and it's been going well for sometime, they've given me some very valuable feedback and even helped me figure out what some of these new units show do ingame, so now you know of another mod that does this.
But this has been a huge help for my mod since i started it and i hope it is for you as well.
Thanks for the feedback! That definitely sounds like a great way to set it up, I'll look into getting a similar set-up! I'm still experimenting with crowdfunding, so getting feedback is very valuable for me at this point.
"I created this patreon to help you help me help you and me!"

I spent all my money on online hookers who didn't even show up though.
See, there's your first problem, should've put it in the Executor fund! Executor will never leave you hanging like that.
**** I'm in the army then. Good luck anyway.
