The downloads represent a version that is nearly 2 !/2 years old, please do not rate the mod based on them. There will soon be a new version, implementing more stuff, as the old versions did only change the game's base files.

-faster/slower building of some units , eg.: in Skirmish faster building for Rebells, slower for Empiore, but for this, Rebel Ships' blow up rapidly as their Shields are down.
-Hardpoints count less as strong as they did earlier.
e.g. A Stardestroyer will be a hard enemy when he's got full Shields, but without Shields he'll be fastly destroyed...

Research:

Instead of a research tree as in the game the rebellion now techs via a research station.

+Rebellion is able to choose between multiple factions
+more tactical than just destroy the enemy station (protect the research station it is able to defend against fighter(s) but not against bigger stuff!)
+a well placed attack on the enemie's research station throws him back to Tech I (empire gets one as well)

-you have to defend it
-possible game crash when choosing a faction whilst playing against an AI (happens very seldom lately)

1. In Star Wars (Books and films) the ties are much weaker than X-wings...ties have no shields, and the x-wings have their cool "protonen-torpedos"(don't know the english word for it)...
2. Can you perhaps implent the "Sonderstaffel" (Wedge antilles is their leader)...this would be very cool
3 Can you perhaps make Bastards? Bastards are ships wich are build out of parts from other ships: For Example a Tie-body with X-wing wings

TIEs sind in meiner Mod schwächer, um einiges.

I'll try and answer the question. I only speak english so I hope it will be understood.

1) I believe the first question is about the relative power of the x-wing related to the tie fighters, specifically that the x-wing is significantly more powerful in a one on one than a tie fighter due to possessing shields, more lasers, and proton torpedoes while the tie fighter was a flying engine with lasers strapped on. He's asking for an effective nerf on the ties.

2) If Wedge is in charge, it's either Rogue squadron (which is implemented in the base game) or Wraith squadron which you can read up on here "http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Wraith_Squadron".

3) The proper english name for "bastard" fighters was "uglies" and it was a generic term with multiple "standard" units produced under that moniker.

1. ties are weaker than X-Wings and A-Wings.
AAAnd: X-Wings got proton torpedoes now!
2. yeah, the German "Gespenster"-squadron [ english Wraith-squadron]
is quite surely implented, but it'll only be a squadron TIEs which is stronger than X-wing squadron, since they're a squadron which often flew in stolen TIEs, which means they got the TIEs the empire uses...
3. Uglies or bastards, nevermind, uglies won't be in the next two o three modversions, but MAYBE after.

yeah, sure you can, but if you could read, I am beginner in Modding -.-
All changes are just to test modding, so until V. 2.0 you won't see any BIG changes, so you have to understand: I have to understand the System behing EAW to begin Modding at my OWN mod, til now, I just mod the maingame. ( Hope I'll mod a mod sometimes later)
