Formed from the best of the best in the military, Elite Recon was designed for one mission; the disaster at the Kal-Tech genetic research facility in Clarington, Oregon. Clarington has been placed under martial law, and citizens are being evacuated as the radioactive and toxic debris of Kal-Tech’s half-standing facility leech slowly into the city. Elite Recon was founded by Jack Wheeler, who is the Politian who attempted to prevent Kal-Tech from developing genetic super-soldiers. To the outside world Mr. Wheeler was the Politian who publicly accused Kal-Tech of inside trading, but then the case went under. A few weeks after there was an accident at the Kal-Tech lab, one of their reactors had blown up. The reactor explosion was devastating, but was shielded enough to prevent the destruction of all of Clarington, the lab remained some-what intact.
