Hello all, valiant dragon hunters, After myself having created the texture mod for The Witcher, I started a new project. For this texture mod I have edited all textures which appear in the game, they are now more detailed, but there's a rub in it: you need a good PC with at least a Dualcore 2 Duo! Extracted, the mod is 1,06 GB big, all files appear as TPF in game! Greetings from Germany! My anti-virus/anti-malware software claims that Texmod has a trojan in it. Is this true?
If your anti-virus/anti-malware program uses heuristic detection, a programs ability to modify the way another program works, it might detect TexMod as a trojan. These scanners cannot tell good modifications from bad ones. TexMod is obviously a false alarm, since the basis of it is to modify how a program runs by replacing textures that the program uses.

If you have the Steam version (Developer's Cut) you have to apply 4GB patch first and launch the game through a shortcut. I guess it works that way.
