The Battle for Middle-earth has just begun! The Edain Mod returns to the classic gameplay of the first Battle for Middle-earth, reimagined with countless new heroes, units and abilities. Journey deeper into Tolkien's world than ever before, relive the movies through meticulously crafted visuals and forge your path to victory in epic strategic battles. Follow your destiny... Middle-earth awaits.
The Isengard Steelworks is the most powerful industrial structure in the game. It pumps out as many resources as four fully upgraded furnaces, but can only be built on outposts. This is also where Isengard refines its steel by enhancing the bonus effects of forged blades, heavy armor and steel bolts. These improvements are small for a single unit, but once researched they apply to all units with the respective upgrades at no extra cost. The Steelworks emphasizes Isengard's focus on industry and heavily armored armies.
nice show offs :P
Now Saruman will have all the iron swords of the spear he needs to take over Middle-Earth.
Could you do a special thing for us :)? When playing has Isengard and Mordor the music that plays is more evil(more songs of isengard and mordor playing like the one in the video maybe) and while playing has Gondor and Rohan the musics playing are more "good" musics of Rohan and Gondor....or maybe, when playing(for example)Isengard vs Rohan(no matter how many players are playing) the musics playing are Rohan musics and Isengard musics
This!
I agree! It would be epic and also adds more spirit for the players.
This is already in the game. Every faction has its own soundtrack.^^
Really? :D YEY!!
Just a reminder: it was already in the vanilla game without the mod ;)
yes but it wasnt very (how can i say this) emotional, you didnt pay attention to the music sometimes :P
Now Isengard fans will think twice before complaining about resources^^
Again, Edain's ingenuity is unparalleled.
Isengard is the best! Most badass faction ever :D
Will Gulzar still have his power to inflict heavy damage on armored units? Because that was always my method of dealing with Isengard fully upgraded armies and this seems to make them more readily upgradable.
Gulzar's concept has been completly reworked.
Ha ha, I feel dumb, but who is Gulzar?
This is magnificent! :D
One question, though: what happens if it is destroyed but player has already purchased the upgrades? Will the units lost their bonus?
Great job, man!
Is it just me or did the steelworks change every map? (This one has a pit others don't.)
