ESF is a fast paced, 3rd person fighter based on the hit anime, Dragonball Z. Select your favorite character and fly, power up, transform, melee, and beam your enemies into pulp. Each character is given signature moves and abilities to compliment different style of play. Some are stronger in hand to hand combat, others are better with energy attacks. Play in three different game modes, deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the dragonballs. There is a learning curve so newbies beware. This is not your normal Half-life mod.

No. This is still Half Life after all.
Why not making something like a giant crack that fades over time (to prevent the entire map covered in cracks)? In the Christmas FX video when a beam hits the buildings or the ground there are giant rocks flying and when the smoke disappears we see the object completely intact. But after all the work you guys have done this post might be considered offensive, sorry about that ^^;
Environment distortion illusion you can see it any way you look at it but cant touch it. Not possible?

Great video! The thing that made me freak out the most was that Death ball. I didn't see that coming! Looks soooooo good!
I also love how the explosions are WAY better. I use to play ECX, and the explosion sizes were all off. Of course, this game is gonna have it right. Love the new effect.

I see no decal marks on where Goku landed on the ground after being hit. Will there be those decals in the final release?
